Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Canine Hoopers Classes
By booking a Canine Hoopers class, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 All course bookings are for six or ten week blocks. One-to-one sessions are booked individually. Payment must be made in advance by bank transfer.
1.2 Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
1.3 Payments are non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the organiser.
1.4 If a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather), an alternative date or class credit will be offered.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals
2.1 If you need to cancel, at least one week’s notice is required. Only cancellations made before this period may be eligible for rescheduling or class credit.
2.2 No-shows or late cancellations (within 48 hours of the class) will not be refunded or rescheduled.
2.3 If a session is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a refund or an opportunity to reschedule.
2.4 Late Arrivals: In the interest of safety, any participant arriving late to a class must wait outside the training area, field, or barn until permission to enter has been granted by the trainer. This ensures that ongoing activities can continue safely and without disruption.
3. Dog Health & Welfare
3.1 All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and in good health to participate.
3.2 Dogs showing signs of illness (e.g., coughing, diarrhoea, or vomiting) must not attend.
3.3 Female dogs in season may not be permitted to participate — please check with the organiser beforehand.
3.4 Handlers must inform the instructor of any behavioural issues or medical conditions prior to booking.
4. Handler Responsibility
4.1 Handlers must keep their dogs under control at all times.
4.2 All dogs must remain on a lead unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.
4.3 Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
4.4 The use of any form of harsh or inappropriate handling is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, striking, smacking, punching, beating, or kicking a dog. Any individual found engaging in such behaviour will be immediately removed from the session and permanently excluded from all future sessions. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.
4.5 The use of choke chains, prong collars, or e-collars is strictly prohibited.
5. Safety & Liability
5.1 Participation is at your own risk. The organisers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the class.
5.2 Owners accept full responsibility for any damage or injury caused by their dog to people, property, equipment, or other dogs.
5.3 Handlers should wear suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the location, activity, and weather conditions.
5.4 Enslow Farm: This is an active working environment that includes farm animals, heavy machinery, trucks, and vans. For the safety of all participants, animals, and staff, dogs must remain securely restrained on a short lead at all times, unless explicitly instructed by your trainer to release them within a designated secure area, such as the training field or barn.
Participants are required to maintain a respectful distance from other people, dogs, and farm animals unless otherwise directed by the trainer. This ensures the safety and comfort of all individuals and animals on the premises.
6. Photography & Media
6.1 Photographs and videos may be captured during sessions for promotional purposes. Please indicate your preference regarding the use of such media by completing the consent section below.
7. Data Protection
7.1 Any personal data provided during the booking process will be kept secure and used solely for class-related communication.
